2011 Alternate Intake Project 69 kV transmission line
CEI installed two towers for W.A.P.A. and strung new 69 kV lines over the old river in Discovery Bay. The towers were 175 ft. and 150 ft. Our subcontractor drilled two 9 foot diameter, 40 ft. deep tower foundations. CEI completed this job in 30 callender days. Basically a barge came up the river and the lines were too low, and it took them out. We installed larger towers to prevent this from happening again.
