The jobs that are not mainly electrical, carried by the same crews.
Cranes, towers and structures, by the same crews
Capability
The specialty record is what self-performing looks like when the job is not mainly electrical: gantry crane rehabilitation at Shasta Dam and crane modifications at Folsom for the Bureau of Reclamation, a 120-foot communications tower and vault on Colby Mountain for the CHP, the Sacramento Tower Bridge, a college gas line, and wastewater treatment improvements at Biggs.
Drilling is self-performed, piers and footings as well as horizontal directional drilling, and medium voltage cable splicing is NCSCB certified. Load testing a 140 ton crane with water weights is the kind of scope that makes these jobs specialty rather than electrical, and they carry structural, mechanical and civil work alongside the electrical under one contract and one schedule.
Drilling, foundations, structural steel and mechanical work are our own crews. The tower on Colby Mountain included the foundations, a generator building, a photovoltaic field and the propane system.
- Mountaintop and remote sites
- Tower and radar sites with haul, weather and generation constraints.
- Dam and powerhouse work
- Crane and controls work inside operating Reclamation and DWR facilities.
